To operate the system, the driver must configure key settings through the touchscreen by entering pertinent trailer details. Then, responsive trajectory lines appear on the touchscreen through the feed from cameras in the door mirrors, showing the anticipated direction of the trailer. By steering the trailer using the infotainment system’s rotary controller and by operating the pedals, the driver can reverse park trailers with ease while the system calculates necessary steering inputs2. It is also designed to alert the driver if the requested steering input is excessive and could cause a jackknife situation2.

The picture on the right was taken with our FLIR ONE Pro thermal imaging camera. It’s an infrared picture of the Pentium N4200 version (top) and the Core i7-8650U version both running the PassMark benchmark suite. The higher thermal load of the powerful Core processor is plainly obvious, as is the heat emanating from its fan vent. That’s the difference between a thermal design power of 6 watts and one of 15 watts.

Pocophone has promised a fix is incoming soon, but as our Jeet Suthar points out, adding Widevine L1 support normally requires sending the phone back to the manufacturer so I’ll wait and see exactly how the company is planning to live up to its promise. For now, I’ll be marking the lack of HD streaming support as a major con that potential owners of the phone need to be aware of.

My Nolan factory tour started at the EPS helmet liner production line. EPS, or expanded polystyrene, is the current protective layer of choice for motorcycle helmets for several reasons. Three of those reasons?
