Is the Spigen Thin Fit too thick for you? Do you want a more exotic material? Look no further than PITAKA’s MagCase. It sounds like the perfect case on paper, though it’s not without its flaws.

I also just wasn’t a fan of not having any real protection on my $900 phone. Sure, the Toast cover is thicker and more protective than a vinyl skin, but still significantly less so than an actual case. While a vinyl skin can still somewhat fit underneath a case as long as it’s not too tight, the same can’t be said for this wood skin. Since I had more cases to review, I had to take the Toast cover off.

Moving the new Windows 10 power slider all the way to "Best battery life" and the backlight setting to "Darkest," we saw as low as 3.0 watts. That’s a full 1.5 watts less than the last XSLATE B10 we tested, and would translate into a theoretical battery life of 12 hours with the standard internal battery. With brightness set to "Suggested," power draw rose to 3.8 watts (theoretical 9.5 hours), and with the backlight set to "Brightest," draw rose to 6.7 watts (theoretical 5.8 hours).

Students filled the bleachers in Port Washington High School’s new arena-style gym Monday for an assembly celebrating the opening of the gym, commons, upper and lower cafeterias, offices and performing arts center, which were essentially completed earlier this month as part of a $46.5 million high school project. The public is invited to a 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, open house followed by a 7 p.m. holiday band concert in the performing arts center (right), which has new seats, acoustic ceiling and wall panels and sound and lighting systems.  

When CIMA International, the U.S. importer and service center for Nolan Helmets in the U.S.A., asked if I’d like a personal tour of the Nolan helmet factory while I was in Milano for the EICMA show, I naturally jumped at the chance.

During my review run, the fully-juiced Honor 8C easily lasted me up to two days at a time. The bundled charger can top-up a completely-drained battery in about two and a half hours, which is alright, given that there’s no fast-charging support.

They even manufacture their own face shields, tinted visors and internally rotating sun visors, including the anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings, which are all done at the Nolan factory!

“Garages have always been way down on the pecking order when to comes to renovations, but now they are moving up,” he said.
