Having a 4,000mAh battery, Honor 8C is targeted at users who don’t really like to hook up their smartphones to chargers every night. I used this smartphone with that expectation in mind, and I’m glad it didn’t disappoint.

Additionally, visualization of the boiling process is conducted using a Phantom V210 high-speed camera (Vision Research) recorded at over 3,000 fps. The basic L10 tablet is visually almost identical to Xplore’s older and existing 10-inch class tablets, but that’s misleading as the L10 is a far more powerful design. A trio of Intel 8th generation "Kaby Lake Refresh" Core processor provide the kind of performance many field professional need for complex work. If that’s not needed, a low end Intel Pentium-based version is still as fast as the old high-end Xplore XSLATE B10. And despite its considerable ruggedness thanks to a tough magnesium alloy frame, polycarbonate housing, and elastomer corner and edge protection, the handy tablet weighs under three pounds. With a footprint barely larger than an iPad, the XSLATE L10 fits virtually anywhere.

The day’s event included a ten-minute film. Ive’s reluctance to speak onstage has been offset by a willingness to appear in scripted videos. On Apple’s Web page of executive biographies, fourteen men and women give welcoming smiles; Ive, the in-house outsider, faces the camera with album-cover gravity.

Taking the case off and putting it back on is easy, but not so much so that it’ll separate from the phone in a drop. My only real gripe with it overall is the exposed bottom, which could potentially lead to disaster in the wrong circumstances. Oh, and if you get it dirty, you’ll have to hand wash it due to the fabric nature of the case. You can’t just wipe stuff off of it like you would with any other case, so if you’re a messier person, you might want to avoid this one.

Deep, wide storage compartments in the lower door casings have been designed to accommodate 24oz beverage containers with ease. The center console provides additional storage behind the lower touchscreen – ideal for storing valuables away from view.

Unlike its siblings, the Covert 2 has buttons that are actually usable. They’re still slightly harder to press than they should be, but they’re tactile and don’t feel like complete crap. The cutouts for the fingerprint sensor, camera, and USB-C port are all accurate. I’m still confused, however, by the two circular holes at the bottom. Why do they exist?

A single color can be used, but Wiedenfeld said most of his customers want a mix of colors to match their home.
