Have you heard of Spigen’s Slim Armor and Tough Armor lines? If so, great! You know exactly what the Legion is. The moment I opened the box, I was instantly reminded of those two lines of Spigen cases, albeit without the handy little kickstand. The Legion features a dual-layer design, with a TPU inner layer and a polycarbonate shell around it. This earns it a MIL-STD 810G drop rating. The polycarbonate actually has a subtle soft-touch finish, which is actually quite comfortable in the hand. What’s not comfortable, however, are the sharp edges that dominate the sides of the case. These edges look good, but they aren’t very pleasant-feeling. Rounding these just a little bit would do wonders for the overall feel.

First Edition models are available exclusively in one of three colors; Corris Grey, Silicon Silver, or Flux Silver– a unique added cost satin finish exclusive to the First Edition, which will be meticulously hand-sprayed at Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations’ Oxford Road Technical Center in the UK.

At first, the designers put little on paper. After years of collaboration, “we just get it,” Ive said. “We know exactly what somebody means.” They first discussed the watch’s over-all architecture, rather than its shape. Ive’s position was that people were “O.K., or O.K. to a degree,” with carrying a phone that is identical to hundreds of millions of others, but they would not accept this in something that’s worn. The question, then, was “How do we create a huge range of products and still have a clear and singular opinion?”

The Solo Wallet case snaps on simply to your 6s, engulfing it in premium leather. The leather is so well-affixed to the custom-molded case, it looks clean and seamless. Perfectly designed cutouts reveal a camera hole, volume-control buttons, the charging area, and everything else you need access to on the perimeter of your phone. Two integrated slots for credit cards, cash or an ID mark the back of the case.

The FRE is surprisingly slim for what it is. I was expecting it to be bulky like an OtterBox, but LifeProof did an impressive job here, considering all the gaskets and extra protection needed to ensure water doesn’t make its way inside the case. It’s actually a two-part case. When you first take it out of the box, it looks like you should pull it apart from the USB port after opening that flap. However, it actually disassembles with the back as one very slim piece, so you should pull from the gap left by the lanyard insert. Interestingly, the fingerprint sensor is covered by what looks like saran wrap. It still allows your fingerprint to be processed without issue, but it’s cheap-looking and flimsy-feeling. The case is relatively easy to snap back together, but you really have to double-check to make sure the two parts are completely compressed without any gaps. Otherwise, you might be in for a nasty surprise.

The Hitch Assist feature makes it easier to hook up the vehicle to the trailer. Using the surround cameras, the touchscreen displays the rear towbar and recognizes the trailer mounting point. The display then zooms in, showing a trajectory line, which responds to steering wheel inputs to help the driver to guide the vehicle into place2.

As for Kurant, and other bars and restaurants that line the west part of Girard, Dowall says there’s no telling when the saturation point for that kind of business will hit.

The flow of air around the vehicle has also been optimized in terms of lift: as a result, the lift balance front-to-rear is an ideal 50:50, helping to further improve stability and steering feel at higher speeds, delivering even greater driver confidence.

One tricky thing about the F1 is availability. Buyers in many Asian markets should be able to snap up the Indian-made handset with no problems, and its also available in Europe. You even get 4G support on UK networks, but US customers are unfortunately not as lucky. B&H Photo Video started taking preorders for the phone in the US earlier this month, but the phone does not support 4G networks in the United States, so you may have to suffer through 3G speeds if you decide to buy the ‘master of speed’ in that country.
