It’s a curious detail that since the introduction of clean air legislation in the early 1980s, coal fired power stations in Germany have been legally obliged to scrub their smoke of fine dust particles, which are for the most part ash with traces of sulfur. The minimalism continues on the back. There’s no branding at all, which MNML is quite proud of. The camera cutout is as precise as it can possibly be, with the cutout going exactly around the lens and the flash. The fingerprint sensor cutout, however, is quite a bit larger than the sensor itself to ensure that use is still easy. There’s also a circular ridge around it so that you can find the sensor easily without looking. The buttons are a little bit more difficult to access, but again, given the slimness of the case around the cutout, you won’t have any issues.
